The desk staff need to up their game though. The view of the parking lot was nothing to write home about but I could see my car from the window, which helped for a sense of security. The walls are fairly well soundproofed and don't hesitate to ask for a quiet floor away from the casino if you don't want interruptions. Two queen beds were easy to secure and our room was large with room enough for a cot or playpen as needed. GPS makes this easy though the hotel is well signed from town once you get off I-75. That's fine by me, I've visited before and know how to find the way. We booked through the Kewadin website after seeing other hotels in town were booked up. Like most casinos in this part of the country, the hotel often hosts musicians, comedians, and events like ghost stories/paranormal activity talks. The usual gamblers fill up rooms quick too. Accommodations can get awfully hard to find, especially at the high season combined with a festival or performance. Kewadin Casino Hotel offers competitive rates for a room in the Soo, especially during the summer when every other holidayer decides that's the ideal stopping point after a trip from Ontario or Michigan. I stayed here on the way north to a Lake Superior holiday.
